Complete Smile Restoration

What Are Full Dentures?

A full denture — also called a complete denture — replaces all the teeth in your upper jaw, lower jaw, or both arches. It consists of a complete set of custom-made replacement teeth set into a pink acrylic base that sits on your gums and, for the upper jaw, covers the palate.

Full dentures are designed for patients who have lost all of their natural teeth, or whose remaining teeth are beyond saving and need to be extracted. They restore your ability to eat, speak and smile with confidence, and provide the support your facial muscles need to maintain a natural, youthful appearance.

At Dental Clinic London, full dentures start from £1,095 per arch. Immediate dentures are also available — these are made in advance and fitted on the same day your teeth are extracted, so you are never without teeth. Every denture is individually shade-matched, tooth-by-tooth shaped and hand-finished to look as natural as possible.

Why Choose Full Dentures

Benefits of Full Dentures

Complete Smile Restoration

A full denture replaces every tooth in your upper or lower jaw — or both. You go from missing all your teeth to having a complete, natural-looking smile in just a few weeks.

Restore Chewing & Speech

Missing all your teeth makes eating almost impossible and severely affects your speech. Full dentures restore normal chewing function and clear pronunciation.

Support Facial Structure

When teeth are lost, the facial muscles sag and the face appears older. Full dentures provide the support your lips, cheeks and jaw need to maintain a natural, youthful appearance.

Non-Invasive & Comfortable

No surgery, no drilling, no stitches. Full dentures are made from gentle impressions of your mouth. The process is comfortable and painless throughout.

Immediate Dentures Available

If your remaining teeth need to be extracted, an immediate denture can be fitted on the same day — so you are never without teeth. A permanent denture is then made once healing is complete.

Affordable Full-Arch Solution

Full dentures from £1,095 per arch offer an affordable alternative to implant-supported solutions. 0% finance is available on selected treatments, subject to status.

Your Journey

How Full Dentures Are Made

1

Consultation & Assessment

Your dentist examines your mouth, takes X-rays and discusses your options. If you still have teeth that need to be extracted, this is planned at this stage. We also discuss whether you would benefit from an immediate denture or prefer to wait until extraction sites have healed.

2

Extractions (If Needed)

Any remaining teeth that cannot be saved are extracted. If you have chosen an immediate denture, it is fitted straight away so you leave the clinic with teeth. If not, you wait 8–12 weeks for the gums to heal before taking impressions for your permanent denture.

3

Impressions & Bite Records

Precise primary and secondary impressions of your upper and/or lower jaw are taken. Bite records capture how your jaws relate to each other. These measurements ensure your denture fits accurately and your teeth meet correctly.

4

Shade, Shape & Try-In

You choose the shade, shape and size of your denture teeth — we help you select teeth that suit your face and look natural, not artificial. A wax try-in allows you to preview the design and make changes before the final denture is produced.

5

Final Fitting

Your completed full denture is fitted. Your dentist checks the fit, suction, bite and aesthetics. Fine adjustments are made on the day. You receive detailed instructions on wearing, removing and caring for your new denture.

6

Review & Adaptation

Follow-up appointments are booked to check your adaptation. New denture wearers typically need 2–4 weeks to adjust fully. Small comfort adjustments are normal and expected — we fine-tune the fit until you are completely happy.
