Affordable Tooth Replacement

What Is an Acrylic Partial Denture?

An acrylic partial denture is a removable appliance that replaces one or more missing teeth. It consists of custom-made replacement teeth set into a pink acrylic base that sits comfortably on your gums. Small stainless steel clasps grip your remaining natural teeth to keep the denture securely in place during eating and speaking.

Acrylic partials are the most affordable type of denture we offer, starting from just £795. They are an excellent option for patients who want to restore their smile without surgery, or as a temporary solution while considering implants or bridges. They are also easily modified — if you lose another tooth in the future, it can simply be added to your existing denture.

At Dental Clinic London, every acrylic denture is custom-made from precise impressions of your mouth, with teeth individually shade-matched to your natural teeth for the most realistic appearance. The entire process takes just 3–5 appointments over 3–4 weeks.

Why Choose Acrylic

Benefits of Acrylic Partial Dentures

Affordable Tooth Replacement

Acrylic partial dentures are the most cost-effective way to replace missing teeth, starting from just £795. A proven, reliable option that restores your smile without breaking the budget.

Replace One or Several Teeth

Whether you are missing one tooth or several across different areas of your mouth, a partial acrylic denture can replace them all in a single, custom-made appliance.

No Surgery Required

Unlike dental implants, acrylic dentures are completely non-invasive. There are no injections, no drilling and no surgical procedures — just comfortable impressions of your mouth.

Quick Turnaround

From first consultation to fitting, acrylic partial dentures are typically completed in 3–5 appointments over 3–4 weeks. You can have your new teeth in under a month.

Easy to Adjust & Repair

If your denture needs adjusting, relining or repairing, acrylic is one of the easiest materials to work with. Repairs can often be done the same day, and teeth can be added if you lose further teeth in the future.

Natural-Looking Results

Modern acrylic teeth are available in a wide range of shades, shapes and sizes. Your dentist matches them carefully to your remaining natural teeth for the most natural appearance possible.

Your Journey

How It Works

1

Consultation & Assessment

Your dentist examines your mouth, takes X-rays if needed and discusses whether an acrylic partial denture is the best option for you. Alternative options such as cobalt-chrome dentures, Valplast flexi dentures, bridges or implants are also explained so you can make an informed decision.

2

Impressions & Bite Registration

Detailed impressions of your upper and lower jaws are taken using comfortable modern impression materials. A bite registration records how your teeth meet. These records are sent to our specialist dental laboratory.

3

Shade & Tooth Selection

You and your dentist choose the shade, shape and size of the replacement teeth. We match them to your remaining natural teeth so the denture blends in seamlessly.

4

Try-In Appointment

A wax trial version of your denture is made so you can see and feel the design before the final version is produced. Tooth positions, bite and aesthetics are checked and adjusted as needed.

5

Fitting Day

Your completed acrylic partial denture is fitted. Your dentist checks the fit, comfort and bite, and makes any fine adjustments. You receive instructions on how to wear, remove and care for your new denture.

6

Review & Fine-Tuning

A follow-up appointment is booked within 1–2 weeks. It is completely normal to need small comfort adjustments as your mouth adapts. We fine-tune the fit until you are completely happy.
