The above process takes an hour or two at the maximum. You will be then scheduled with the next appointment which is generally after a month's time. On the next appointment, the translucent wire will be replaced by a new one. You will be advised to have regular checkups before the removal of the ceramic braces.

Even though ceramic braces are strong and durable, you need to take proper care of these attractive wires to preserve them for a longer period. You are advised to follow the below mentioned caring tips:
- You must brush your teeth twice a day to prevent the ceramic braces from staining.

- Its highly recommended to visit your dentist at an interval of 6 months to get your teeth cleaned professionally.
